Peter Wilson, CEO & Director

Peter Wilson has acted as the lead financier for public and private companies raising an aggregate of over $300 million of equity and debt financing during the last 20 years. Peter is familiar with the mining and energy sectors having worked in major resource districts in Canada, the United States, and Africa.

As president of Hana Mining Ltd based in Vancouver, Canada, he orchestrated the creation and discovery of a major copper/silver district in Botswana, Africa. The resultant mineral discovery catapulted Hana Mining from a junior company to an eventual market capitalization of over $580 million.

Mario Drolet, Director

Mario Drolet has more than 25 years of experience in financial markets and has worked on the floor of the Montreal Exchange on his way up from apprentice to chief trader in derivatives for a large Canadian institution – CIBC Wood Gundy. Since 2007, he is the founder of MI3 Communications Financieres, a Montreal-based new-age financial communications company geared for today’s fast-paced global economy. MI3’s services were developed to leverage trading and market experience to provide Investor & public relations, market-making activities, and market intelligence to Canadian public companies.

Mario has worked with over 250 small, mid and large-cap public companies on different levels.

Chris Foster, CFO

Mr. Foster is a consultant providing accounting and financial management services for both public and private companies across a broad spectrum of industries. 

Mr. Foster is the current Chief Financial Officer for DGTL Holdings Inc, former Chief Financial Officer for Perpetua Resources Corp, former Controller for the Ivanhoe Group’s Global Mining Management Corporation and Peregrine Diamonds Ltd, former Controller for Roca Mines Inc and former accountant at Canadian Forest Products Ltd.

Mr. Foster is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).

Eugene Hodgson, Director

Mr. Hodgson has an extensive career in the capital markets and public companies, serving in leadership roles in private industry most recently as CFO at Trait Biosciences Inc.,an emerging biotechnology leader in the cannabis industry, as well as in public service roles as a public policy and political advisor and Chair of Vancouver Community College. Eugene’s experience includes First Nations negotiations, corporate, corporate, public and financial strategy. 

Prior to Trait, he was CFO/Director of Sea Breeze Power Corp., and an investment banker at Corpfinance International Inc., specializing in infrastructure debt and equity financing. He is the former CFO/Director of Timmins Gold Corp(NYSE) and President of Fabled Copper Corp. He is currently a Director of Dixie Gold Inc., Red Lake Gold Inc., Rover Metals Inc., ESG Global Impact Capital Inc.,and Forbidden Distilling Corp. 

Mr. Hodgson is also currently the CFO/Corporate Secretary of Tevano Systems Holdings Corp. and Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. where he is also a Director.

Eugene is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a BA in Political Science.

Jon Hill, Advisor

Mr. Hill brings over 30 years’ experience of global exploration, mining operational and project development experience including, Africa, Australia, and the Americas. Jon spent most of his formative years as a geologist with AngloGoldAshanti, where he recently held the title of Exploration Manager, Colombia Greenfields. During his tenure at AngloGoldAshanti he was directly involved in the discovery of several world class projects within both Greenfields and Brownfield areas. His broad range of experience includes, exploration and development of projects including due diligence, corporate development, mine geology and management of interrelated departments including coordination and liaison with mine planning and reporting of mineral resources and reserves. 

Jon is a Non – Executive Director of Royal Road Minerals Limited and Stratabound Minerals Corporation both TSX-V listed companies and provides Exploration Advisory Services to a growing list of international companies through Exploration Outcomes Ltda which Jon founded in 2017. Jon holds a BSc (Hons) Economic Geology 1988 (University of Cape Town), and a BAppSc. Applied Geology 1985 (Queensland University of Technology). He is a fellow of the AUSIMM an organisation he has been a member of since 1986.

Brian Hambleton Jones, Advisor

Brian Hambleton-Jones is professional geologist with 30 years experience in the South African nuclear industry.

He was founder of URAMIN listed on AIM in London, Nu Energy Corp, Resource Capital Group Cameroon Ltd, both listed on the TSX in Toronto. Brian has been CEO of companies in southern Africa covering shale gas, hydrogen production, the environment.

Brian brings wide knowledge of African geological exploration for various commodities including copper, uranium, diamonds, nickel, silver, lithium, shale gas as well as the nuclear fuel cycle, environmental and ecological issues, business management and the private sector.

Leonardo Souza, Geologist

Leonardo Souza is a Consultant Geologist at Canopus Geologia e Projetos, and an Associated Partner at Orion Group, bringing expertise in mineral exploration and project management to both roles. His work involves developing mineral exploration projects across a spectrum of sizes and types, from metallic to gems, and he is adept in business development within the sector, particularly in fostering partnerships and negotiating deals for domestic and international markets.

Leonardo’s skills extend to preparing business plans to attract investments and managing relationships with investors and investment funds, focusing on mining, mineral commodities, and exploration projects in Brazil and abroad. Additionally, his proficiency in project planning and stakeholder management is grounded in PMBOK best practices, enhancing project competitiveness, and reducing risks.

Phillippe Martins, Legal Counsel

Philippe Martins is a seasoned lawyer with a Bachelor’s Degree from University Ceuma in Maranhão, Brazil, and advanced qualifications in Business Law from Fumec and Mining Law from CEDIN, both in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He brings over 12 years of expertise as a Director and General Legal Counsel, specializing in Greenfields, Brownfields, and mining operations projects, currently serving on the board of Resouro Inc. (TSXV: RAU). 

Philippe has a rich background in handling administrative and legal proceedings, government relations, crisis management, and the implementation of Corporate Governance programs, offering advisory and legal counsel to both Brazilian and international business groups. His influential network extends across various Brazilian municipal, state, and federal levels, particularly in the production chain and mineral sector, corporate law, and academic institutes.

Paul K. Smith, PGeo

Paul Smith (P.Geo.) initially assumed the role of President & CEO of Mountain Lake Minerals in 2012 after the successful plan of arrangement between Mountain Lake Resources and Marathon Gold. He spent 33 years with the Mineral Resources Section of the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources as a Senior Research Gold Geologist and finally as Liaison Geologist for the Mineral Resources Branch.

In 2008, Paul joined Acadian Mining Corp and was instrumental in the cleanup and sale of the ScoZinc Zn-Pb mine at Gays River.

Paul is professional geologist with an MSc in structural geology from Acadia University.

Paulina McGroarty, International Advisor

Paulina McGroarty has 25 years’ experience in finance and capital markets and has successfully led teams and promoted NASDAQ and Singapore Stock Exchanges, working closely with CEOs and CFOs of publicly quoted and private companies.

Paulina has first-hand experience with media, strategy, banking regulation, and private banking environments.

Andrew Lee Smith, PGeo, BSc., ICD.D - Chairman

Andrew Smith is an accomplished Professional Geologist. He has over 25 years of experience successfully exploring, developing, and operating North American and African base and precious metals mining projects. He also holds directorships and management positions in several other junior mineral exploration companies.

In 2015, Andrew competed in the International Corporate Directors Education Program and received the ICD.D accreditation -the only professional designation for Canadian directors recognized both nationally and internationally.

Mr. Smith holds a BSc in Earth Sciences from the University of Waterloo, Ontario. He is a Professional Geologist and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. He received the Mining Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1994 from the Quebec Prospectors Association for his role in mine development with Aurizon. He was named Outstanding Alumnus of 2009 by the Science Faculty of the University of Waterloo for his contributions to mineral exploration.

Ian Gendall, Technical Advisor

Ian Gendall is the President & CEO of DLP Resources and was previously with Gencor, Billiton, Anglo American, Antofagasta and more recently, OceanaGold.

While working with Billiton, Mr. Gendall led the team that was responsible for the discovery of an entirely new porphyry copper district in southern Ecuador. One of the companies that acquired part of the district was subsequently sold to CRCC-Tongguan Investment Co., Ltd. for $679M. 

Ian has extensive knowledge of operating in Brazil and was previously COO of Magellan Minerals, which was purchased in 2016 by Anfiled Gold Corp.

Michael Skead, PGeo, MSc. - Technical Advisor

Michael Skead is a geologist with over 30 years of international experience in mining exploration and development. He holds a BSc. Honours degree in geology from the University of Cape Town, (RSA) and MSc. in Exploration Geology, from the Rhodes University, Grahamstown, (RSA).

Mike Skead most recently worked as the Vice President of Project Development at GT Gold Corp., which was recently acquired by Newmont Corp. for C$393 million. While at GT Gold Corp., he delivered the geological model and resource for the gold rich copper porphyry Saddle North Project which comprised an Indicated resource containing 1.81 B lbs. copper and 3.47 M oz. gold, and an Inferred resource containing 2.98 B lbs. copper and 5.46 M oz. gold.

Prior to his role at GT Gold Corp., Mr. Skead was Director of Geoscience at Newmont Corp. and has previously held senior management positions in a number of internationally recognised mining companies including Goldcorp, Randgold Resources, and Dundee Precious Metals.
